Catch the 33rd annual San Diego Music Awards on TV! If you didn’t get a chance to attend this year’s San Diego Music Awards on April 30, you still have two opportunities this month to take in the fun! The event will air on:
FOX 5 San Diego – Saturday, June 15 @ 8pm
KUSI San Diego – Saturday, June 22 @ 7pm
Trophies at this year’s SDMA’s were given out in 25 different categories, with seven live performances from the evening’s nominees. The night’s Lifetime Achievement Award recipient was guitarist Stevie Salas, with video tributes from the likes of Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) and Billy F Gibbons (ZZ Top) and the award itself given by Matt Sorum (Guns and Roses).
Other live performances include songs from country singer Kimmi Bitter, rapper Mitchy Slick, rocker Ash Easton, singer-songwriter Joshua Taylor, pop rock combo We the Commas and jam band Boostive.
