San Diego based rockers, Pierce The Veil, are on a roll. Currently touring behind their latest album, Jaws of Life, on August 15, their 2010 single, “Bulletproof Love” was certified Platinum by the RIAA for 1,000,000 sales. It’s the bands fifth single to score an award this year, with additional certifications for “Caraphernelia” (Platinum) on July 30, and “Bulls In the Bronx” (Gold), “A Match Into Water” (Platinum), and “King For A Day” (2X Platinum), all on June 28.
On August 12 in Detroit, MI., Pierce the Veil wrapped up two months of stadium dates across North America, opening for Blink 182. The bands next performance is set for the When We Were Young Festival taking place in Las Vegas on October 19 & 20. They then play a concert in Mexico City on November 9 and additional U.S. dates through December 1. Pierce the Veil’s most recent single is a non-album track, “Karma Police,” a cover of the 1997 single by Radiohead.
