Beatles Fair Returns / Magical Mystery Campout!

The 21st San Diego Beatles Fair takes place the weekend of April 5 & 6, and it’s all new for 2026. Taking place at a new venue, the DeAnza Springs Resort (1951 Carrizo Gorge Rd, Jacumba), this year’s theme is the Magical Mystery Campout, featuring 20 bands performing the classic songs of John, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

There will be food and merch vendors, but best of all there will be plenty of activities, including trivia contests, dancing and a fashion show, as well as more outdoor opportunities for hiking, swimming, water volleyball, pickleball & tennis, pool tournaments and even darts.

Attendees are welcome to come out for the day, or stay the weekend. You can bring an RV or camp under the stars.

The Magical Mystery Campout will feature a mainstage / outdoor stage, as well as smaller indoor acoustic stage in the venues café / lounge.

“I just felt it was time to take Beatles Fair to a different level,” said event organizer Alma Rodriguez. “I visited the DeAnza Resort and when I saw all the amenities, I knew it would be a great place to have a music festival. And I loved that it had so many outdoor opportunities beyond the usual festival happenings.”

But of course, Beatles Fair’s focus is always on the music. “We’re really excited about this year’s line up!,” said Rodriguez. “We certainly have the bands that feature costume changes and take the band through different eras, those are so much fun! But we’ve also got artists reinterpreting the songs, and there will be artists who play music that influenced The Beatles.”

On hand will be some of the best Beatles Tribute groups in the Southland, including Los Angeles based Britain’s Finest (Saturday), Mexico’s The Revolution Band (Sunday) and San Diego’s own, That Beatles Band (Sunday). Additionally, award winning guitarist Fred Benedetti (Saturday) will perform a special set of instrumental Beatles classics, while acclaimed singer Ashley Norton (Saturday) will be joined by friends Chloe Lou and Cathryn Beeks for a set of harmony driven tunes.

Artists that inspired The Beatles as well those that were inspired by The Beatles will also be represented, with appearances from Oasis tribute, Oasiz (Saturday), Eric Clapton doppelgangers, Clapton Hook, The Surf Birdz will play 1960’s favorites and San Diego Music Award winning singer, Mercedes Moore (Sunday), with her tribute to 1950’s era rocker, Chuck Berry.

Just the tip of the iceberg! the Magical Mystery Campout promises to be a fun, unique way to celebrate the music of The Beatles. “Anyone who loves The Beatles music will have a wonderful time,” Rodriguez said. “We’re looking forward to a weekend of listening the greatest music ever written, under the stars. It can’t be beat.”
