Wow… that was some May! Aside from October, it’s our busiest month in Ramona. You know about those good weather months. Everything happens at once! We all try to get together at the beginning of the year to go through our calendars and make sure there aren’t a thousand things happening on the same day. But then May 15th happened. The Barn Dance was an amazing success and it felt really great to pay tribute to my bestie, the late Craig Fischer. We all miss him so much. All of the bands on the bill were incredible. Especially you, Farm Truck. Thank you for carrying on his legacy. That same weekend had so much happening! Including Craig’s beautiful celebration of life, an all weekend event on the rodeo grounds, big shows at the Barn and Reds, Whites and Brews, Smoking Cannon Brewery, the Estates Estate sale and a freaking parade. But the weather was beautiful and the music was flowing like fine Ramona wine. Small town charms wins again! We’re gearing up for hotter days ahead and look forward to being outside as much as possible until then. Here’s the plan for June:
